Your extremely reluctant new seabird is printed in PLA, a lightweight, durable material used for detailed 3D printing. Each figurine is built one layer at a time, which is exactly what brings out the beak, the brow, and all that feather texture.
Fine layer lines, small seams, and minor surface variations may be visible. These are normal characteristics of the 3D-printing process, not defects, and because every piece is printed individually, your pelican will have small variations that make him specifically yours. PLA can soften in high heat, so keep him out of hot cars and away from heaters, fireplaces, and other strong heat sources. He is made for indoor display and is not intended for food contact.
