Veluna is designed for dried, preserved, and artificial stems — it is not watertight and is not intended to hold water or fresh-cut flowers. If you'd like to use fresh florals, a separate watertight insert or test tube placed inside is the way to go (not included).

🧵 About PLA & 3D Printing

This piece is made from PLA, a lightweight and durable thermoplastic used for detailed 3D-printed products. PLA is what makes shapes like Veluna's radiating fluted base possible — that level of crisp, repeating geometry is genuinely difficult to achieve with many traditional manufacturing methods.

Each vase is built one layer at a time. Fine layer lines are visible up close and are part of the character of the process — they give the surface a subtle ribbed texture that reads beautifully in natural light. Small seams and minor surface variations may also appear, and because every piece is printed individually, very slight variations can occur between prints.

A few practical things about PLA:

PLA can soften or deform when exposed to excessive heat.
Please don't leave it in a hot vehicle.
Keep it away from heaters, fireplaces, open flames, candles, and hot appliances.
This vase is intended for indoor use.
It is not intended for food contact, and it is not watertight, dishwasher-safe, or outdoor-safe.
