The Breach is a 3D printed background panel designed to sit against the rear pane of a terrarium, vivarium, paludarium, or aquarium. Designed by novYTerra and printed and sold by CurioPrinta under a commercial license, it combines weathered rock structure with fragments of ancient architecture: broken masonry, stepped platforms, and eroded stone faces that read as a ruin settling back into the landscape rather than a smooth molded panel.
The centerpiece is an integrated tunnel system that runs through the panel and connects both sides, with a generous cave at each end. Those caves work as enclosed retreats, and the tunnel gives animals a covered route across the back of the enclosure instead of a dead end. Around them, multiple levels, ledges, and recessed pockets add climbing surfaces and planting space. PETG Wet Model
Choose this version for aquariums and for high-humidity, misted, bioactive, or partially submerged enclosures, and for setups running high-output UV lighting. It is printed in PETG and supplied completely unpainted. CurioPrinta uses PETG for these setups rather than standard PLA because PETG handles prolonged moisture and UV exposure far better than PLA. That is a material choice, not a guarantee: continuous high-output UV can still gradually embrittle PETG over time, and PETG is not permanently waterproof, indestructible, chemically inert, or universally suitable for every animal or water condition.
PLA Dry Model
Choose this version for arid terrariums, dioramas, tabletop terrain, shelf display, and general home decor. PLA versions are not recommended for submerged aquarium use, constantly wet or heavily misted enclosures, or setups with strong UV lighting. Pick PLA only when the panel will stay dry and out of intense UV.
