The Noodle House Hideaway is a 3D printed shelter styled after a small Japanese noodle shop. The exterior is sculpted with a tiled roof, raised Japanese-inspired lettering, hanging lantern details, ramen bowl wall decorations, and layered architectural texture across the walls. Every one of those details is modeled into the print itself rather than painted onto the surface, so the detail is structural and will not flake, chip, or wear off the way a painted finish can.
Function drives the shape. A single large arched entrance opens into a hollow, roofed interior, so the piece reads as a building from the outside and works as an enclosed cave from the inside. The flat base sits stable on substrate, the solid rear and side walls block lines of sight, and the low profile leaves headroom for climbing branches or foliage above it. PLA Dry Model
Choose this version for arid and low-humidity desert terrariums, dioramas, tabletop terrain, shelf display, and general home decor. PLA versions are not recommended for submerged aquarium use, for constantly wet or heavily misted enclosures, or for setups with strong, continuous UV lighting. The building body and the roof are printed in separate solid filament colors, chosen independently, so you can set a two-tone combination that suits your layout. Nothing is painted, sealed, or coated. All of the signage, lantern, and ramen bowl detail comes from the sculpted geometry of the print rather than from applied color, so it reads clearly even in a single-tone pairing.
Colors may look slightly different in person because of lighting, photography, monitor settings, and filament batches, and the piece can shift in tone under enclosure lighting or when wet. Any painted or styled images in the photos are finishing examples only. An exact color match is not promised.

💧 Can this be placed underwater?
Only the PETG Wet Model is intended for wet, misted, or partially submerged use. PETG is the material CurioPrinta uses for those setups because it handles prolonged moisture far better than standard PLA. The PLA Dry Model is for dry, arid, and display use and should not be submerged.

🖌️ Can I paint it myself?
You can, but any paint or coating used inside an animal habitat must be independently researched and confirmed as suitable for your intended species and conditions. CurioPrinta does not recommend customer-applied paint for wet or submerged use, and the hide ships unpainted.

🧹 How should I clean it?
Rinse with clean water and use a soft brush when needed. Avoid soaps, bleach, solvents, abrasive cleaners, boiling water, dishwashers, and high-temperature cleaning. For dry display use, a soft brush or lightly damp cloth is enough.
