The surface is sculpted with an irregular, naturally structured stone texture rather than a smooth molded finish, so it reads as real layered rock from across the room and holds up close inspection too.
It is a freestanding piece, which makes placement flexible. Stand it in the open as a climbing centerpiece, push it against the rear pane to build depth behind a planted foreground, or set it into a corner where the stepped side profile shows off. Choose this version for aquariums and for high-humidity, misted, bioactive, or partially submerged setups, and for enclosures under high-output UV lighting. It is printed in PETG and supplied completely unpainted. CurioPrinta uses PETG for these setups rather than standard PLA because PETG handles prolonged moisture and UV exposure far better than PLA. That is a material choice, not a guarantee: continuous high-output UV can still gradually embrittle PETG over time, and PETG is not permanently waterproof, indestructible, chemically inert, or universally suitable for every animal or water condition.
PLA Dry Model
Choose this version for arid terrariums, dioramas, tabletop terrain, shelf display, and general home decor. PLA versions are not recommended for submerged aquarium use, constantly wet or heavily misted enclosures, or setups with strong UV lighting. Pick PLA only when the piece will stay dry and out of intense UV.
